LDR 101 Module 3 Check-In:

Objective: The purpose of this assignment is to complete a career or personality assessment to increase your self-awareness. You will then reflect on how these results align with your personal leadership strengths and weaknesses to prepare for your future career.

Instructions: Complete a career or personality assessment (such as Myers-Briggs) and answer the following prompts in complete sentences, paying attention to grammar and MLA formatting. These sentences will eventually become part of your Leadership Paragraph 3.

1. Assessment Results Summary

• • Identify the Tool: State which assessment you took (e.g., "I took the 16Personalities/MBTI assessment").
  • Key Findings: Summarize your top results. What were your primary personality traits or suggested career matches?

2. Interpretation and Reflection

• Example 1: Registered Nurse (Pediatrics)
  • Assessment Results: I completed a personality assessment and was identified as a "Defender" (ISFJ).
  • Interpretation: This result feels very accurate because I have always been motivated by the desire to protect and care for others, which is why I chose pediatric nursing. It shows that I am reliable and have a strong practical sense when it comes to helping people.
  • SWOT Connection: These results confirm my internal Strength of empathy and my commitment to the GMC value of Duty, specifically my personal obligation to care for my future patients.   • Leadership Style: My results point toward Trait Leadership because I possess the natural discipline and honesty required for the GBI. Applying this style will help me become someone the community can trust.

• Assessment Results: My career assessment suggested a high score in "Enterprising" and "Social" categories, matching me with business leadership roles.
• Interpretation: I learned that I enjoy solving complex problems for others, which aligns with my goal of growing my "intellect" to understand the economy.
